Homeland Information
KwaZulu was a self-governing homeland and comprised a large number of non-contiguous parts spread throughout the former Natal province (today's KwaZulu-Natal).
The homeland was granted internal self-government on 01 February 1977.
It ceased to exist as a political entity on 27. April 1994 and has been incorporated into South Africa.
Its flag and license plates are no longer in use.
